About LeBlanc Osteopathy...

I've always wanted to play a role in helping individuals navigate their health & wellness journey. From a young age it was apparent to me that my interest in the sciences & human anatomy, coupled with my interpersonal skills, provided me with the necessary tools to do so. Practicing osteopathy allows me to educate and instruct patients on how they can best manage their health, and I'm incredibly grateful for this opportunity.

Adam is a Certified Osteopathic Manual Practitioner as well as a professional associate of the Ontario Osteopathic Association.

Adam has completed a five year intensive masters diploma in Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy.

How & What We Treat

Through rigorous assessment and treatment, Osteopaths effectively treat a wide variety of conditions throughout the body.

Our patient centred approach assures the client is receiving a tailored treatment to address their specific problems. Through the application of various hands-on techniques, Osteopaths effectively address painful stimuli, increase range of motion, and improve circulation throughout the body.

Osteopathy has proven to be effective in treating a range of conditions including, but not limited to: Arthritis, Back Pain, Chronic Fatigue, Frozen Shoulder, Fibromyalgia, Headaches, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Cervical (Neck) Pain, Plantar Fasciitis, Respiratory Problems, Sciatica, Scoliosis, Shoulder Pain, and a range of other musculoskeletal disorders.

  • What conditions does Osteopathy treat?
Osteopaths can help with a wide range of conditions affecting muscles, joints, and the body’s overall movement. Common reasons people seek osteopathic care include: Back and neck pain – from stiffness, muscle tension, or disc-related issues Joint pain and arthritis-related discomfort – including hips, knees, shoulders, and hands Muscle strains and ligament injuries – whether from sports, work, or daily activities Postural problems – often linked to sitting, driving, or work ergonomics Headaches and migraines – when related to tension in the neck, shoulders, or jaw Rehabilitation support – following surgery, injury, or illness affecting mobility Nerve-related pain – such as sciatica or trapped nerves Pregnancy-related discomfort – back, pelvic, and postural strains Circulatory or lymphatic issues – mild swelling, fluid retention, or poor mobility Jaw (TMJ) problems – including pain, tension, or clicking
  • Do I need a referral from my doctor to receive treatment?
Many patients are referred to osteopaths by their doctors, other health practitioners, and personal trainers. That being said, as osteopaths are primary care practitioners, you can make an appointment directly without a referral.
  • How many sessions will I need?
There is no objective answer to this question. Each patient presents with their own unique anatomy and is treated as so. Some patients may only need an appointment or two to see significant results, while others may require more frequent treatments. As a general rule of thumb, patients suffering from chronic problems (lasting 6 months or more), typically require more frequent treatment.
  • How much does an appointment cost?
Costs for an osteopathic appointment varies. The initial appointment fee is ($120). Follow up appointments can be booked in increments of 30,45, and 60 minutes. These appointments are priced as follows: 30 minutes ($75), 45 minutes ($90), and 60 minutes ($120). Adam will work with you to best determine your treatment plan going forward.
  • How can I best prepare for treatment?
I recommend patients abstain from eating a few hours prior to treatment. Arrive well hydrated, wearing clothes that you can move freely in. Immediately following treatment some gentle physical activity, such as walking, can be beneficial for treatment integration. Abstain from doing any heavy weight lifting or physical activity involving explosive movements immediately following treatment.
  • What should I wear for my treatment?
I recommend patients wear clothes that don't restrict movement. Athletic wear, sweats, and loose fitting clothing are all acceptable options to wear to treatment.
  • How can I ensure I receive all the benefits of my treatment?
I will often times prescribe exercises for patients to complete at home in between treatments. Although osteopathic treatment in itself is substantial, staying consistent with these activities will ensure positive long-term outlook in regards to your respective condition.
  • How will I feel after my treatment?
As osteopaths we correct mechanical imbalances and restrictions throughout the body, as a result of this you may feel more energetic, balanced, and mobile. Post treatment soreness is a common symptom of treatment as a result of mobilization and engaging muscles that have been inactive for sometime. Improved sleep coupled with increased energy levels is a great indicator for effective treatment.
